idu-Evaluate
Description
idu-Evaluate is a product, marketed and distributed by the idu Group. The product has been designed to streamline the process of optimising staff performance in the workplace. The system accommodates multiple assessment and development tasks in a production environment.
Evaluate 3.0 innovations lie in the following areas:

Incorporates a sophisticated competence library interface within the framework
- This library interface allows for NQF [National Qualification Framework] modules to be inserted that will permit for measurement criterion.
- The pre-populated knowledge base allows for selection from a list of pre-defined criteria as well as enables the creation of specific task oriented or company selections. This enables organisations to increase the knowledge base with company specific criteria which are easily re-usable.

The system comprises two parts, a front end, browser based module and an administrator module (client-server). The front-end module consists of the core evaluation and measurement presentation whilst the back end administrator enables administrators to set and assign evaluations, manage tasks and employee measurement criteria.
Requirements
NB: Please note that all these requirements must be met before the installation of the product can commence.
Server software (2 tier application – Web and Database Server on 1 Server)
Server:
- Windows NT 4.0 Server with Service Pack 6a or later, with Windows NT Option Pack (Internet Information Server comes with NT option pack 4 and later).
- OR Windows 2000 Server with IIS 4.0 or later (Internet Information Server) installed.
- Microsoft Transaction Server.
- SQL Server 2000.
- Minimum 2 Gig RAM.
- Recommended Pentium 4 Dual (2.4 GHz) or more.
- +/- 500MB Hard drive space free.
- Crystal 8.5 can be installed on the web server. If it does not get loaded, Crystal 8.5 will be loaded during the installation.
